Midlo holds virtual parent-teacher conferences
2020 Parent-Teacher Conference Schedule & Information
As the end of the first nine weeks comes to a close on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Midlothian High School, annual parent-teacher conferences begin. Taking place on Monday, November 2, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., all parents will have the ability to meet one-on-one with their student’s various teachers in a virtual setting due to Chesterfield County’s current guidelines regarding Covid-19.
Teachers will conduct conferences by way of the Google Meet platform, a familiar tool utilized by both students and teachers alike, as it undoubtedly embodies an essential part of everyday life. By accessing the conference scheduler program, parents can easily set up an appointment with whom they desire to meet. Midlo encourages all interested parents to schedule a conference time that best suits them, ensuring an opportunity to directly connect with necessary teachers. The deadline for registration falls on November 1, 2020, at 4:00 p.m.
To access a conference session, a google meet code designated to each teacher allows for parents to log in during their scheduled appointment time. However, all parents must have a Google account in order to successfully schedule a session when meeting virtually, so individuals who want to make one can follow the steps provided here. Those who do not wish to create a Google account may instead conduct a phone conference after submitting their contact information by way of a Google form. Individuals experiencing difficulties making an appointment should contact Midlo’s front office at (804)-378-2440 or consult Midlo’s Virtual Learning Hub for any questions regarding parent-teacher conferences.
