Ms. Martin represents many colleges in her room with colorful banners.

The College and Career Center, coordinated by Mrs. Maureen Martin, is open for business for the 2017-18 school year.

During the school day, college representatives will visit students in their junior and senior years of high school. To access the list of representatives, click on the link Calendar of College Visits and  stop by the Career Center or Counseling Office to pick up a pass before attending the meeting.  Most representative meetings will occur in the Library.

The College Night program for both junior and senior students and their parents will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. from 7:00-8:30 pm. This is a panel discussion by college admissions/financial aid officials to assist families navigating the admissions and financial aid process.

A GRASP Adviser is available on Wednesdays from October – April.   GRASP is a Richmond-based nonprofit, no cost association, which provides representatives in area high schools to assist with the college funding process.  Kathy Davis, GRASP Adviser for Midlothian, will be here starting Wednesday, October 4.  For an appointment, sign up in the Career Center.

The Financial Aid Workshop program for both junior and seniors and their parents will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, from 7:00-8:30 pm. This is a presentation by Ms. Belinda Hill, University of Richmond Associate Director of Financial Aid.  She will address the process of applying for financial aid and understanding the college financial aid package.
