The sound of parents and students clapping could be heard in the Chesterfield Technical Center (CTC) Auditorium as students received awards for All County on Mon. April 14.
In Chesterfield, All County Awards are given three times a year — in the fall and winter for athletics and in the spring for academic activities. Around 100 students from all schools in Chesterfield County are invited to attend the ceremony in recognition of their hard work, while another 100 are given honorable mentions. Not only are students recipients, but one staff member for each category also receives an award for their hard work in encouraging their students. This year, Atticus Finn won for choir, earning praise for both his musical talent and leadership during performances.
The ceremony ended with a reception in the lobby, where award winners posed for photos, enjoyed refreshments, and celebrated their accomplishments with family, friends, and teachers. For many, the night was not only a reflection of past efforts but also a reminder of the bright futures ahead.
