Ms. Ferguson joins the Special Education team
New Teacher Spotlight: Special Education Department
As the 2021-2022 school year begins, Midlo welcomed a new member to the Special Education department. A first year teacher, Ms. Brooke Ferguson is excited for the year ahead.
A former student of Chesterfield County Public Schools, Ferguson attended Monacan High School. She then received both her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and her M.Ed. in Special education from Radford University.
Ferguson was inspired by the idea of directly making a positive impact on others when planning to become a Special Education instructor. She has always had compassion and patience for others struggling with what comes naturally to most. Students within the Special Education system are people too, Ms. Ferguson reminds everyone, so “treat them as you would your other friends.”
Hobbies: Going on weekend trips, thrifting mugs, and watching TV
Welcome to Midlo, Ms. Ferguson!
