From 4-8 pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, Midlothian High School’s International Baccalaureate program prepares a pizza fundraiser at A New York Slice on Browns Way Road. A NY Slice specializes in New York style pizza but also offers desserts, wings, appetizers, sandwiches, and more. Families can support the program by ordering take-out or delivery when they mention Midlo IB. This event grants IB with an alternative to the annual election day bake sale that was canceled due to COVID-19. 20% of all proceeds go to the IB Parent Council, which supports the IB students, provides thousands of dollars in scholarships, and gives teachers support. IB encourages everyone who attends to wear a mask and socially distance at 6 feet or more.
