Deja vu was strong amongst the IB Class of 2022 as they returned back to Midlo on January 5, 2023. Students who had pass all their IB exams were awarded with their IB diploma, officially certifying them as an IB Diploma Recipient. 

All students currently enrolled in the IB Program attended the ceremony at 2 p.m. along with the parents of the Diploma recipients. Attendees were welcomed by IB Coordinator, Stuart Jones, who expressed his joy and happiness for the Class of 2022 and all their hard work. He then introduced Principal, Shawn Abel, who shared that the IB Class of 2022 had an exam pass rate of 95%, an all time high for Midlothian High School.  IB Teacher Of The Year 2022, Lisa Martin-Hudgins, then spoke about the importance of staying humble and hungry throughout the course of their academic career and life. 

Students walked across the stage and received their physical diploma and then invited to celebrate the achievement with a closed reception after the ceremony.
