To Weep Alone

A rainy grave stands with a lost lover.

“Deep in earth my love is lying

And I must weep alone.”

  • Edgar Allan Poe

A stone with a name glares to me

How dare time continue

With a cloud full of pity

Rain descends

Alone,

I tighten my coat

Rolling towards me

Coming from nowhere

A lost umbrella

With a smile on my lips

And a warm heart

It blocks my rain

And the tears

Sorrow no longer.
