Mrs. Mullins’ first period class indulges in a delectable breakfast party as reward for collecting the most school supplies.

Over the first few weeks of 2017 school year, Midlothian High School engaged in a school supplies drive to benefit  DeQueen Elementary in Port Arthur, Texas, as the students and teachers try to recover from Hurricane Harvey’s devastation and begin to return to normalcy. Each of Midlo’s first period classes competed to earn a complimentary breakfast of Krispy Kreme donuts, for the class that collected the most school supplies.

Mrs. Yvonne Mullins’ Marketing class collected an astounding 1,753 school supply items to win the competition. The Midlothian School Counseling Department boxed and transported the supplies and send thanks to all who participated and made a difference in the lives of children.

In total, Midlothian High School collected 4,700 items! That’s the way a Community of Excellence responds when others are in need.

Congrats, Midlo!
