IBPC and Chicken Fiesta partner for spirit night
IB Spirit Night
To celebrate a New Year, the International Baccalaureate Parents Council (IBPC) opened a new door to host a fundraiser with Chicken Fiesta for the first time. While Chicken Fiesta has donated food to the IB Program’s International Festival in years past, they’d never partnered on a fundraiser. With Chicken Fiesta’s new location so close to Midlothian High School, the IBPC thought that now would be a perfect time for this fundraiser.
The fundraiser raised more than $450 for the IB Program. “We would love to continue our partnership with Chicken Fiesta and do more events like this in the future. When we work collaboratively, everybody wins!” IBPC President Mrs. Annette Ruzicka said. The money from this fundraiser will go towards completing the IBPC mission, which is to support students, parents, and teachers in the IB program.
The IBPC has many events coming up to look forward to. On March 16, the IBPC is planning a parents-only event, and there will be another spirit night at Panda Express on March 31 from 4-8 p.m. “Thank you to the amazing support from the Midlothian High School community!” Ruzicka said.
