On May 1st, 2025, an event was held in the closed commons to celebrate the acceptance of our seniors into different colleges. On this day, accepted students have to make a final decision on where they will be attending college and put down a deposit. The event was held during MAP and included doughnuts, photo booths, and souvenirs from many colleges and military branches.
“I’m going to VCU, because I love the city of Richmond and I would love to be in that environment,” Isabella Davis, 12, said. “Im also hopefully studying arts and they have one of the best arts program in Virginia”
Faculty felt that seniors, after a hard year, deserve a celebration for their hard work. The faculty can give back to these seniors by holding events for them. Graduation is slowly approaching, and the seniors only have so much time till they walk across the stage.
