Throughout the first semester, Honors Spanish 4 students in Señora Travis Jimenez’s class viewed, analyzed, and wrote about the award-winning film, Ladrón Que Roba A Ladrón. Each student composed a review of the movie in Spanish, and each copy underwent numerous editing stages. After weeks of revising copies of the review, students voted on the most eloquent and interesting review to submit to Midlo Scoop. Sara King, a freshman, emerged victorious, and her review follows:

¿Tú quieres mirar una película de aventura y estremecimiento? ¿Una película con amor y de honradez lacia las minorías? Entonces es preciso mirar la película Ladrón Que Roba A Ladrón, ¡porque tiene todo eso y mucho más!

Esta película es sobre dos amigos, quienes son como hermanos, y un equipo de inmigrantes ilegales quienes roban a un millonario. Este millonario no es un criminal regular, sin embargo. Este hombre tiene dinero de robar el dinero de otras personas por venderles productos falsos. El usa la esperanza de otras personas para venderles los productos falsos que son un desecho de dinero.

Esta película tiene muchos puntos fuertes durante toda la película. Por ejemplo, cuando el ladrón malo, Valdez, (cual es el ladrón de las personas) despide a los empleados cuando ellos están de huelga, es notable que él ni ayuda ni le importan los empleados de él. También, hay muchas vueltas del argumento, los cuales siempre suman al argumento.  También, hay puntos débiles en la película. Ellas incluyen cosas que no tienen sentido, como cómo es posible que un hombre viva en en túnel por más o menos una semana sin morir de sed o falta de aire. En cuanto a los actores, son muy buenos cuando interpretan con emociones a los personajes. También, la música que se escucha en el fondo de la actuación suma a la sorpresa e incertidumbre de la película, haciendo que la película sea más divertida para ver.

Ésta es una película que es para todas las personas y es una película fantástica.

Do you want to watch a movie that is adventurous and thrilling? A film with love and integrity by minorities? Then you need to watch the movie Ladrón Que Roba A Ladrón.

This film is about two friends, who are as close as brothers, and a team of illegal immigrants that rob a millionaire. This millionaire is not a regular criminal, however. This man has money from stealing other people’s money by selling fake products. He uses customers’ hope to sell fake products to them that do not work.

This movie has many strong points throughout.  For example, when the bad robber, Valdez (which is the robber who robs people), dismisses his employees when they are on strike, it is remarkable that he does not care for his employees. Additionally, there are many loops in the plot, which make the movie interesting. Also, there are weak points in the film. They include things that do not make sense, such as how it is possible for a man to live in a tunnel for about a week without dying of thirst or lack of air. As for the actors, they are very good when they interpret the characters because they use emotions. Also, the music that is heard in the background of the performance adds to the surprise and uncertainty of the film, making the movie more fun to watch.

This is a movie that is for all people, and it is a fantastic movie.
