Students Celebrate Homecoming in High Style
Midlo Homecoming Dance 2017
On October 14, 2017, students had a thrilling night at the 2017 homecoming dance. The dance began at eight o’clock, as students eagerly poured into the open commons and gym. The circus theme was displayed by the red and white streamers strung from the ceiling and the festive balloons hung throughout the gym.
Students arrived with their friends, dressed up and looking radiant, ready to dance the night away. Everyone enjoyed themselves as they sang at the top of their lungs to their favorite songs. Freshmen new to homecoming were especially enthusiastic, as they participated in their first ever high school dance. All the grades brought the energy, as they danced to all around favorites, such as the Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble.
At eleven o’clock, everyone was sad to leave but delighted about the memories they made. Participants will remember the 2017 homecoming dance as a time when friends could let loose, relax, and have the time of their lives. When describing her time at the dance, freshman Chloe Martin said, “I had been looking forward to homecoming for a while. I had so much fun, and it really exceeded my expectations.”.
