Achievement in the Arts
National Art Honor Society New Inductees of 2017
Every year, Midlothian High School honors students who have made incredible advancements in the development of their art at Midlothian. On Wednesday, January 18, 2017, students who have demonstrated exemplary artistic efforts in and out of the classroom were inducted into the National Art Honor Society (NAHS). These students have worked exceptionally hard all year and deserve this recognition.
The event began with each NAHS officers delivering a short speech about what NAHS represents: expressing yourself through art. After the officers spoke, all of the inductees recited the NAHS pledge, the first step to becoming a member of the society. The new inductees performed the final step as they rose one-by-one to the sound of their names and lit their candle to officially join NAHS. Congratulations to the new Midlo inductees of 2017:
