On Saturday, September 28, the JV Girls Volleyball team was invited to join the Atlee JV tournament. In this tournament, teams can compete to win bronze, silver, and gold medals. The JV girls had to go against four different teams – Mechanicsville, Massaponax, Patrick Henry, and James River.
In their first game, they played against Mechanicsville, winning 2 sets. With a win behind them, they moved onto the second match, but were defeated by Massaponax. This put them into the silver bracket. After their loss, they took a lunch break which helped them bounce back and defeat both Patrick Henry and James River. They won both of those games to two.
After playing from nine to five, they traveled back home from Atlee High School. The JV Girls Volleyball took home the win in the silver bracket and overall went 3-1 for the day.
