A calmer day in volleyball season has taken off this week. With three games last week, girls JV volleyball only had to worry about one game, Manchester. On Tuesday, September 24, at 5:30, the girls JV volleyball team went to take on Manchester High School. Going into their territory, with a fun, troubled-free win going 2-0.
In the first set, the girls were focused and hardworking, which caused them to succeed. During the second set, they were enthusiastic and passionate because they won their first set. With their hard work, they were able to take home a quick win. High energy and positivity helped the girls stay focused. With their good attitude, they accomplished the triumph. Because of the girls winning both of these sets, they were able to have an easy win with no third set needed.
“I believe that we all played incredibly well and I am so happy about how this season is going so far,” Julie Davis, 9, said. “I think the more we play, the better we will get. I cannot wait for more games and wins to come.”
With only 10 more games to go, the excitement of this season cannot wait.
