Field hockey celebrates seniors
Field Hockey Senior Night 2021
On Tuesday, March 23, 2021, the Midlo Field Hockey team celebrated their annual Senior Night in a game against the Powhatan Indians. With an undefeated record this season, the Trojans took the field with hopes to continue their winning streak. Throughout the first half, Midlo pushed ahead with goals from Charlie Wilkenson, Riley Martin and Hayden Strausburg. In the second half, the Trojans held their lead despite offensive attacks from the Indians. Midlo emerged with a 3-1 senior night win.
After the game, seniors, teammates, and their families gathered to honor the seniors. Each senior, escorted by their parents, walked down the field as their favorite memories from their time on the team as well as their aspirations for the future were announced.
