Midlothian High School has brought home the Golf Regional Champs title for the past two years. Within the mostly male team, one female, junior Ester Choi, has served as the only female golfer on the team for the past three years.

During the 2019 season, Choi placed top five in the Regional Championship meet, which earned her a spot in the State Championship match for Ladies Golf. This match will take place on October 28 and 29, 2019, in Harrisonburg at Heritage Oaks Golf Course. To qualify for states, golfers must rank in the top 8 or top 15% for regions, making this an impressive accomplishment.
