Autism Awareness Month takes place throughout April, but many people with Autism seek acceptance, rather than awareness.  Autism affects adults and children of all ages, yet many remain unfamiliar with what autism really entails. Autism is a condition that affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others in certain ways, typically in a social setting. Although it can be challenging, Autism does not stop a person from living his or her day-to-day lives to the fullest.

During the month of April, the autism community encourages individuals to wear blue in support for the acceptance and awareness of those affected by Autism. Midlo’s TrojanLive Network produced a video which offers a complete picture of Autism and those who experience its affects daily.
