From the Ticketmaster crash, to record-breaking income and completely sold out shows, the Eras tour was a historical tour. On November 1st of 2022, Taylor Swift announced her tour, describing it as a “journey through the musical eras of her career”. The tour began on March 17th of 2023 and runs until December 9th of 2024. Swift’s tour featured concerts all around the world, with a US leg before beginning to play globally. Swift is playing in places such as Argentina, Asia, and Australia. Each concert features a “surprise song”, or a featured song not originally on the set list that changes between performances. Special guests have also been featured, including Taylor Lautner, HAIM, and more. The tour broke the record for highest-grossing music tour ever, reaping in over 1 billion dollars, and will continue until the end of this year. Many concert goers would spend hours preparing for the concert, a plethora of friendship bracelets needed to be made to trade to other swifties, outfits needed to be bought or made to match the era people were going as, and the perfectly drawn number 13, usually adorned with glitter and bright colors needed to be drawn on the back of their hands.
