Will Glass continues his swimming career for the Tribe.

Among the various students continuing their athletic career at the collegiate level following high school, senior Will Glass has announced his verbal commitment to the College of William and Mary where he will join the school’s swim program. Since starting the sport at the age of eight, Glass has showed tremendous talent in and outside of the pool, making him a clear choice to be selected for William and Mary’s 2022-2023 roster.

“I chose William and Mary because of the great academics coupled with a strong D1 program. It will set me up for success both academically and athletically,” Glass said.

Along with being a veteran member of the Midlo Varsity Swim Team, Glass also spends his time swimming competitively for NOVA, a local swim club. Glass’s teammates have been his most important support system during the recruiting process, and have made a lasting impact on him as they continuously push him to be the best athlete that he can be.

Glass is currently competing in his last swimming season for the Trojans. Though he knows it will be hard to leave the program that has allowed him to grow as an athlete, he is hopeful for the future.

“My current season is going well and I’m looking forward to the various championship meets coming up in the next several months,” Glass said.

In the meantime, Glass will continue to enjoy his time with both his teams at NOVA and Midlo and compete alongside his friends prior to starting a new chapter in Williamsburg in the fall.
