Midlo Boys Lacrosse Senior Night 2021

On Monday May 24, the Midlo Boys Varsity Lacrosse team celebrated their graduating athletes on senior night during a home game against the Thomas Dale Knights. The game kicked with the seniors being walked onto the field by loved ones as their teammates cheered on the sidelines. This season, the team consisted of nine seniors: Xander Gibson, Seth Grossman, Aidan Stevenson, Brendan Royals, Otto Waldbuer, Jeff Kaliber, Blake Longest, Ashton Luby and Nick Pomeroy

Senior Boys Lacrosse Class of 2021:

Xander Gibson will be attending George Mason University this fall.

Seth Grossman has been a member of the varsity team for the past two years and is attending the University of Richmond where he will be majoring in economics. His favorite memory from lacrosse is hearing all of Coach Barnard’s stories.

Aidan Stevenson has been a member of the varsity team for two years and will be attending Virginia Tech where he will be studying construction. He will miss playing for Midlo as well as the friendships and brotherhood lacrosse has given him.

Brendan Royals has been a member of the varsity team for two years and will be attending Cornell University to study computer science. He will miss seeing his friends on and off the field.

Otto Waldbuer will be attending James Madison University this fall.

Jeff Kailber will be attending James Madison University this fall.

Blake Longest has been a member of the varsity team for four years and will be attending Virginia Commonwealth University. His favorite memory from the team is being able to play with his friends.

Ashton Luby will be attending George Mason University this fall.

Nick Pomeroy has been a part of the varsity team for two year and will be attending Virginia Tech where he will be studying communications. His favorite memory from the team is when their coach taught the team how to tie their shoes.

Congratulations, seniors!
