In an effort to spread joy to the community, Midlo’s Model UN (United Nations) chapter is collecting get-well-soon cards for local hospitalized COVID patients. The Model UN is encouraging students to decorate thoughtful, colorful cards that send heartwarming messages for the suffering patients.

Community Service Coordinator, junior Benjamin Ogunde, originally came up with the idea of sending cards to hospitalized COVID patients.  “As a club, we agreed that COVID has affected all of our lives, and anything we can do to lift spirits would be helpful,” club sponsor Mrs. Monica Van Arsdale said.

Cards will be collected through Friday, January 15, and can be dropped off at the front office of the school.
