From October 26 to November 10, 2019, Maymont hosts its annual Maymont Garden Glow 2019 event in its famous Japanese gardens from 6 pm-10 pm every night. The park welcomes families and couples to this special event. As a nonprofit organization, Maymont holds special events, such as Garden Glow, to help raise money to maintain the gardens. 

When guests first enter the park, the Garden Glow Shop greets them with the choice to purchase souvenirs and alcoholic beverages for adults. Visitors walk the Woodland Path to enter the gardens, where attendees travel in a figure eight shape at their own pace. This area provides an original view with the glowing reflection of the lights in the lake at the center of the Japanese gardens. Another vital aspect of the Garden Glow is the famous waterfall at Maymont. Hundreds of twinkling lights behind the waterfall give the sight a whimsical effect for onlookers. Once finished admiring the decorated gardens, guests may take a golf cart ride back to the start or walk back up the Woodland Path. 

To attend this event, one must purchase a ticket, which costs $10 per adult or $5 per child for Maymont members and $12 per adult and $7 per child for non-members; however, parking is free. With only a few more days to experience the magic, make sure to order tickets now.
