1)  When you aren’t teaching, what is your favorite activity to do outside of school?

When I am not teaching, I like to read a lot. I also like to go hiking a lot when I have free time. Normally, I like to catch up on my sleep usually lost from the school week.

2) If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be and why?

If I could choose to be anywhere, I would choose to be in Athens, Greece because I have never been there, and it has always been my main place to visit, due to all of the history and archeology that the city is immersed with.

3) What inspired you to become a teacher?

Originally, I wasn’t going to become a teacher; I was going to be an archaeologist. Then, when I was in high school, I fell in love with the ancient Romans and Greeks, and I loved learning all of the myths. I became excited when others wanted to learn about the ancient Greeks and Romans as well.  I wanted to shared the language and culture with as many as possible. I like to connect modern life with ancient life.

4) What is your favorite singer/band?

My favorite singer, at the moment, is Sam Hunt. My musical taste seems to change a lot.

5) What are your favorite sports teams?

Alabama Crimson Tide college football. I’m from the South in Tennessee.

My favorite teams are from Alabama. I also like Crimson Tide college football. I am from south in Tennessee.

6) Who is your favorite author, and what is your favorite book?

My favorite book of all time is Harry Potter, I try to make this clear to all my students. My favorite author, at the moment, is Chuck Palahniuk, who wrote Fight Club.
