Wednesday, March 14th is National Pi Day! Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical term pi, which is an infinite number that rounds to the number 3.14, thus earning the date March 14th.

The Midlothian High School Math Department is celebrating by selling pies for $1 to students throughout the week. Flavors include: apple, cherry, lemon, blueberry, and cinnamon cake. Bring your money to your math teacher to purchase your pie. Pies will be distributed on Tuesday, March 14th, in celebration of William Jones’s discovery of the mathematical value.
