Why did you choose history?
One of the reasons is that I love to travel. I love learning about different cultures, traditions, and history.

What subjects did you teach in the past?
Prior to coming to MHS, I taught AP Psychology and World History. I have also taught 8th grade civics and Economics.

What other schools have you taught in before?
I have taught at Hampton City Schools and Providence Middle School.

Do you have any people who inspired you?
I find Colin Kaepernick to be an inspiration! I am motivated by the conviction of his beliefs and the strength of his character.

What do you like to do outside of school?
When I am not at work, my wife and I enjoy traveling. We have been to so many countries. When we travel, we educate ourselves about the countries and cities we will visit.
