On Saturday, December 10, 2016, the Midlothian High School Forensic Speech and Debate team came together to give back to the community. Armed with the comradery of their fellow teammates, the team joined forces to make blankets for MCV pediatric wing.

The students gathered at team officer Mariha Junad’s house for a celebatory social and service project. Following the efforts of Project Linus, the team made blankets to donate to MCV Hospital. With the power of good food and a will to give back, the students will donate ten blankets to the children in the MCV pediatric wing, keeping them warm this winter.
