On Saturday November 12, 2016, the James River Ice Theatre team kicked off the holiday season by performing their holiday show at the Stony Point Mall ice rink. Midlothian High School senior Emily Palmer and freshman Mollie Jones participated in James River Ice Theatre’s Christmas show to open the ice rink at Stony Point Mall. Opening the show, all of the skaters dazzled the crowd in their Santa-inspired costumes, as they skated to Carol of the Bells. Later in the show, Emily and Mollie performed a beautiful duet to Little Drummer Boy.

If you are interested in attending one of these shows, the James River Ice Theatre skaters will perform every Saturday at 5:30 pm from now until Christmas. The ice rink is located in between Dick’s Sporting Goods and Saks Fifth Avenue.
