With an amazing theme “Night under the Floating Lights,” Homecoming was an experience you didn’t want to miss. With so much going on and so much to see, there truly was something for everyone.
Hearing people singing karaoke, dancing to the music, chatting in the open commons, and playing competitive video games in the game room. Even the cookies were tasty!
Almost everyone I spoke with had something positive to say about the evening. This was Avery Breckenridge’s (Grade 9) first Homecoming, and she shared: “I love the karaoke, it’s nice to hear other people playing and I think the music is great. They have a nice taste of music.” Chaperone, Niki Word, joyfully shared: “I love it. I love the energy, [and] the decorations are beautiful. The teachers are really nice, the other volunteer chaperones have been very sweet, and the student body has been really nice too.”
Jordan Saunders, (Grade 9) and Genevieve Kade, (Grade 9) compared their first high school dance to ones from middle school. “Homecoming has been really fun and is more fun than stuff we did in middle school. The vibe of homecoming has been very exciting and very hype. The highlight of homecoming is probably the dance and the decorations. Homecoming is a ten out of ten!”
Overall, the homecoming dance is something you didn’t want to miss. Enjoying your time with friends, dancing, singing, gaming, or chatting, the homecoming dance is a wonderful experience making memories that will last a lifetime.
