On May 1st, 2025, in the closed commons, Midlothian held an event to celebrate the acceptance of our seniors into different colleges. The event was held during MAP and included doughnuts, photo booths, and souvenirs from many colleges.
“I’m going to VCU, because I love the city of Richmond and I would love to be in that environment,” Isabella Davis, 12, said. “Im also hopefully studying arts and they have one of the best arts program in Virginia”
”I’m going to the University of Lynchburg because I will play lacrosse there and I really like it,” Olivia Owings, 12, said.
Faculty felt that seniors, after a hard year, deserve a celebration for their hard work. The faculty can give back to these seniors by holding events for them. Graduation is slowly approaching, and the seniors only have so much time till they walk across the stage. So make sure you show your seniors some love!
