Midlo students share Halloween traditions
Halloween 2020
Despite the pandemic, Midlo students plan to continue all Halloween traditions and find creative ways to show off their spook-tacular personalities. Whether they plan to carve pumpkins, make Halloween treats, or dress up in costume, Midlo students are on their way to a fun and ghoulish night!

“My family and I have lots of Halloween traditions! Usually the Saturday before Halloween we go to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. Then, the day before Halloween, my family and I carve pumpkins and put them out on the porch. Before Corona, I used to go to the Hallow Scream event at Busch Gardens with my friends. Finally, on Halloween night, my friends come over, and we binge scary movies while also handing out candy to the trick or treaters.”– Megan Coppola, Class of 2022

“One of my family traditions for Halloween is that we always have pizza for dinner on Halloween! We always eat pizza right before trick or treating time. The past few years I have handed out candy with my mom to all of the adorable little kids in my neighborhood. Also, for Halloween, my family puts up Disney Halloween decorations because we love Disney! We also carve a pumpkin a few nights before Halloween.”– Lena Caffall, Class of 2021
