Société Honoraire de Français

Société Honoraire de Français seniors humbly recieve their graduation cords of honor to commemorate their french achivements.

On Tuesday, April 26, Société Honoraire de Français (SHF) held its annual induction ceremony recognizing the many achievements of various Midlothian High School students enrolled in the French program. A formal ceremony followed by a desert-reception was held in the MHS library and included students, as well as their parents, teachers, and friends.

One senior, three juniors, and two sophomores were inducted into the Midlothian chapter this year, having maintained an average of 90 or greater for six consecutive semesters in French language classes. French teachers Mme. Mazzola and Mme. Garrison were extremely proud of their students, as Madison Chazo presented the new inductees: Sarah Furman, Meredith Forer, Finlay Raphael, Margaret Self, Elena McCloy, Evelyn Reece, and Charolotte Bernard with Les Certificates d’Honneur and the National pin of the SHF.

Senior members, Thomas HargroveDanielle Turner, Stephanie Ulshafer, Keila Wallace, Domonique Spencer, Brooke Gore, Mary Vardell, Jane Goodwin, Catrina Haden, and new senior inductee Meredith Forer received their graduation honor cords, which they will wear at their graduation ceremony in June, representing their many achievements, including hundreds of hours of service to the honor society and remarkable contributions to their French classes.
