Filling Midlo’s Halls With Cheer

High Intensity Autism Students Go Christmas Caroling

Students and teachers from the Autism suite surprise the front office staff with a holiday surprise.

On Thursday, December 7, 2017,  students from the High Intensity Autism suite went door-to-door singing Christmas carols, such as Jingle Bells and We Wish You A Merry Christmas, for all to enjoy.  The students recently started participating in a music enrichment class, and learning and performing these songs, allowed them to practice their craft.

Midlo teachers requested to have the students sing to their classes, and merry carolers traveled their festive route, spreading holiday cheer during first and second period. For their singing adventure, they visited Mrs. Underwood, Ms. Beckman, Mr. Scherer, the front office, the counseling department, the clinic, Ms. Hargrave, Mrs. Patel, Mrs. Bennett, Mr. Pleasants, Mrs. Garrison, Mrs. Palenski, Ms. Rekito, and Mr. Davis. The students enjoyed their lesson and had a great time caroling. The staff and students of the Autism Suite would like to thank Midlo’s students and staff for their support.
