On May 2, 2025, Marvel released Thunderbolts∗, a team of anti-heros who have to join forces to defeat The Void.

Characters from past Marvel projects Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, and John Walker, decide to work together to impeach and arrest Valentina de Fontaine for her crimes. But, not all goes to plan when Sentery shows up and fights the newly formed team.

To gear up for the release of this movie, different theaters sold various popcorn buckets and novelty cups. One bucket was specifically shaped like the Red Guardians red limo from the movie. This promotions for this movie also include cereal boxed with the team posing as a gag for fans.

This movie not only continues the story line of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) but also give us deeper insight into some of the main characters from previous movies. Since Endgame, the MCU has had many ups but mostly downs. Many fans have taken to social media to express their excitement for future projects because this movie has been a big hit at the box office.
