As famous artists and influencers load up their shein carts, the largest music festival of the year begins, Coachella 2025. Coachella is hosted annually at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California during two weekends in April. This festival consists of different artist headlining Friday through Sunday with separate time slots on various stages. Some artists headlining this year include Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone. 

Coachella over the years has been more of a ‘who has the best outfit’ competition than a music festival and that’s due to increasing traction online. Big name celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Haylee Baylee received hard backlash about their outfits while others were praised for capturing the 2014 aesthetic of music festivals. 

Benson Boone, an uprising singer, played Coachella on April 11. While performing a tribute to Queen, Boone brought out a former member of the band, Brian May. Boone and May performed Bohemian Rhapsody and the crowd went mad. It truly was an earth shattering performance and was unexpected by the crowd. 

As the second weekend of  Coachella commences, many viewers online compare and contrast the previous outfits and performers harshly. It seems no one can meet the public’s expectations. Until next year, or Lollapalooza.
