On Mar. 21, members of National Art Honor Society (NAHS) gathered at Thomas Dale High School to help set up for the Fine Arts Festival. Every year in the middle of March, various school in Chesterfield County participate by sending pieces of artwork for display. This year, Midlo NAHS members unloaded the truck filled with sculptures, paintings, and boards that were also included in the previous Art Beat. From 4pm to 6pm, Midlo set up camp in the main gym and displayed artwork in specific order.
As Saturday rose, families came from everywhere to see their children’s artwork throughout the year. There were interesting displays such as an animated short film, stickers up for grabs, and intricate mosaic chandeliers. Thomas Dale was open from 9am to 5 pm for all to enjoy.
The event came to a close on Sunday at 4pm and NAHS students came back to take down the boards. And the event reached its final closure, ready for next year.
