In honor of Women’s History Month, students are coming together to support families in need by organizing a donation drive for Safe Harbor shelter. Their initiative, led by Women’s Empowerment Club is to collect donations for essential food, personal care, and household items to help families facing hardship. The donations include snacks, canned foods, shampoo, detergent, and first aid supplies. In addition, gift cards for Walmart and Uber are being collected to assist with groceries, transportation, and other critical needs.
All donations are due by Thurs., March 19, at 3:00 PM in Room 304. Students and staff are encouraged to participate and make a meaningful impact during Women’s History Month.
