Student holiday for Election day. Many seniors voted for the first time.

Applications for the National English Honors Society are now open for seniors. Students can email [email protected] for any questions and more information.
Thursday, November 10
Midlo Winter Guard Informational Meeting in room 405 after school at 3:30 p.m.
Region 5C Quarterfinals begin at 7 p.m. at the F.W. Poates Stadium with the theme of Little White Lies. Grab a plain white t-shirt and write a white lie on it to come out and support the football team as they compete against Glen Allen.
Friday, November 11
Tropical Storm Nicole is planning on arriving in the Midlothian Area. Students and staff should take proper precautions depending on the severity of the storm.
In celebration of the Black Panther sequel being released, Wakanda Weekend RVA is taking place at Movieland Bowtie Cinema on Arthur Ashe Boulevard. They are celebrating the new movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with souvenirs, performances and discounts.
Saturday November 12
A three-day fundraising event for the Richmond children’s hospital, Richmond’s Mini Greek festival starts on Thursday at 11 a.m. and continues on Friday and Saturday until 8 p.m on 30 Malvern Avenue. The event is free and will have Greek music along with traditional Greek food and drinks sold.
At 8 p.m. the Richmond Symphony is holding a series of music from Romeo & Juliet at the Dominion Energy Center.
