Sophomore class president, Patterson Summers, answers 20 questions for 2020. Summer recently started in the student council, and ran straight for class president. He is also an active participant in Varsity swim, sidekicks, and as a coach for SwimRVA. Below are Summer’s responses to The Scoop’s 20 questions:

1. What type of food best represents you? 

Mint chocolate chip ice cream 

2. What’s your most useless talent?

 My fake British accent 

3. What’s a weird food combination you love?

 Popcorn and nutritional yeast

4. What’s your spirit animal? 

An otter

5. If you were given a million dollars to open a new type of museum, what would it contain? 

A Swimming Hall of Fame 

6. What animal would be the most terrifying if it could speak? 

A spider or a snake. 

7. If you built a themed hotel, what would the theme be? 

Waterpark Themed

8. What was your first job? 

Swim coach

9. If you had to hide a giraffe, where would you hide it? 

The zoo

10. If you could travel to one place right now where would it be? 

Australia- they have very few covid cases

11. There are now 25 hours in a day! How do you spend your extra hour?

 Probably sleeping or swimming 

12. What is your cell phone wallpaper?

 My best friend

13. If you had your own talk show, what would your first three guests be?

 Kamala Harris, Taylor Swift, and Seth Myers

14. Would you rather have a rewind button or a pause button on your life?

 I would rather have a pause button

15. If you were a refrigerator, what item would you hate holding? 

Mustard, I just hate the smell of it

I know it’s cliché but “be yourself”
