Midlo A/V Media Club makes its mark
New Midlothian High School A/V Club
On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, the new Audio Visual (A/V) Club, convened at Midlothian High School. Students of all ages and grade levels came together in the library to discuss the new club. Club sponsor Mrs. Heather Murfee expresses excitement about the new opportunities coming to the Midlo Library, sharing, “The A/V club will enrich student learning through technology.”
At the first meeting, students were tasked with making club policy, deciding who the officers should be, as well as planning club activities. Midlo’s A/V club’s mission is to bring together people with a common interest, and to use the collaborative effort for good at Midlothian High School and the Midlothian community.
A/V club will meet weekly on Tuesday, from 3-4 pm. Everything from video cassettes to green screens will play a role in the A/V club. Students are encouraged to attend, as they might find a new hobby in this media-driven club.
