The MHS male student of the month is one of Midlo’s top athletes, who has become a leader on the court. He has helped the Boys Basketball team improve through his strong leadership and contributions. In an overtime loss to Powhatan, he scored 37 points for Midlo! His teachers comment that he makes positive contributions in the classroom, and his grades have continued to improve each year.  He is a strong leader and an overall fun person to be around, and because of this, Midlo would like to recognize the male student of the month for January: Rico Coleman

The MHS female student of the month is one of the sweetest, thoughtful, and caring students at Midlo. She goes out of her way to show kindness and support to all of her peers. She received an overwhelming amount of positive responses from teachers and students. This student has appeared in multiple plays and stands out when performing in Just For Show. She excels in the classroom, shines on the stage, and shows positive behavior, and because of this, Midlo would like to recognize the female student of the month for January: Bailey Blair
