Homework Helper Tutor/Mentor Program Seeking Tutors for 2016/17 School Year

Congratulations to the many OUTSTANDING Midlothian students who tutored as Homework Helpers this year. We will miss the seniors and look forward to having underclassmen back as tutors next year!

We are seeking mature, responsible students to work one-on-one assisting underprivileged elementary students with homework and provided learning games and activities. Tutors will meet with students weekly at 10014 Robious Road, adjacent to the Suburban Village Mobile Home Community, where our tutored children live. Carpools to the site are available. Wednesday or Thursday afternoon positions are available.

Attention, Boys…..Strong male role models are especially needed to work one-on-one with the many little boys in our program!

This is a GREAT way to be a positive influence in a young child’s life, earn community service hours and enhance your college resume all at the same time!

APPLY NOW!! Positions are limited and will be filled by the end of this school year!

Information and Application Forms are available in the school office, the school website, and in this newsletter.
